How much do your services cost?

In terms of return on investment: priceless! In terms of actual rates, this is discussed on each service page. However, if you have any questions or you’d like a free no-obligation quote, please get in touch with us – we’d be delighted to discuss your goals and plans with you.

What happens if I am not satisfied with your services?

Luckily this hasn’t happened yet! We are dedicated to providing clients with a professional, tailor-made service, and because we discuss your aspirations, strengths and areas for improvement in detail before we start, we’re confident that we’ll deliver the results you want. But if you aren’t happy for whatever reason, we’ll go above and beyond to work with you until you are.

Language Training

How soon can I start a course?

Before your training can begin, we need to discuss your needs and assess what level you’re at with your language skills. Then we plan a course for you, which will usually start within ten working days – we find this works best to keep your motivation flowing! 

Who will be my trainer?

Our trainers are university-educated and certified in adult training with at least five years of teaching experience. We match you or your group with the best trainer for your language needs and skill level.

What happens if I need to cancel a class due to last-minute schedule changes?

Our 24-hour cancellation policy gives you flexibility, as well as maintaining fair working conditions for our trainers.

When does the course need to be paid for?

Courses must be paid in advance of the training start date.

Can employees use company documents in their training?

Our trainers respect and maintain client confidentiality. If the company gives permission, we’re happy to use company documents if it’s useful as part of your training.

What happens if there is a break in training?

In the case of medical reasons, the cost of the course will be reimbursed. 

 

Copywriting

Why should I choose LLS for my copywriting?

We take the time to understand your brand, business and tone of voice. We craft creative marketing copy to engage with your audience and deliver your message in a way that gets results.

What information do you need to write an article or blog post?

We will need to know the topic, target audience and objective, as well as examples of your brand voice (such as on your website or existing posts on social media). If you have any points you’d like covered within the topic, that would useful as well.

What information do you need to write my website copy?

We need to know your business website address (if applicable), your main competitors, any examples or details of your brand voice, and any key information you would like included on each web page.

Will I own the content you write for me?

The content we write for you will be original and you will own the content in the final draft.

 

Copy-editing

What is the process for editing my copy?

You will need to provide document(s) containing the text you would like us to edit, in the form of Word or Google docs (but not PDFs). We will make changes using the ‘Track Changes’ tool so you can see what we recommend. We will deliver one document with the tracked changes and another document with the changes applied.

Why should I choose LLS to copy-edit for me?

Our team of professional copy-editors have a keen eye for detail and a passion for producing clear, engaging, accurate content. We make purposeful and meaningful edits to your copy, keeping your brand voice and target audience in mind to ensure your message has maximum clarity and impact.

What type of content can you edit?

We can edit a wide range of copy, including business reports, presentations, speeches, proposals, website copy, blog posts, articles, case studies, newsletters, emails, user manuals, eBooks and more!

What guidelines do you work to when editing my copy?

We can edit for British or American English. We refer to the New Oxford Style Manual for British English and Amy Einsohn’s The Copyeditor’s Handbook: A Guide for Book Publishing and Corporate Communications and the Chicago Manual of Style for American English. We will also work with your in-house style guide if you have one.

What other information do you need to get started?

We will need to know your business website address (if applicable), and a brief description of your target audience.

How long will it take to copy-edit my text?

For texts up to 1000 words, we aim to deliver your order within 48 hours. If you need it urgently, please let us know and we will do our best to meet your deadline. 

 

Executive Business English Coaching

What is included in your executive business English coaching course?

We understand your need to communicate clearly and effectively in your workplace environment. This is a short-term service to coach you through building your confidence with English nuance, functional business English and small talk. We offer complete flexibility, coaching you when and where it works for you. All training materials are tailored to you, and we also provide ongoing support throughout training - you can contact us seven days a week anytime from 7 am to 10 pm.
