What is Expat Woof?
The new top dog of Swiss animal boarding, Expat Woof is led by our team of dedicated dog-boarders and sitters who are just crazy about canines! We provide care from our own homes, plus explorations of the surrounding area with lots of walks in fields, baths in lakes and rivers, mountain hikes, road trips, cuddles, weekly meet-ups with other doggies, video chats with owners and daily updates with photos, plus pickup and drop-off direct to your door.
Dog boarding with a difference
Traditional dog boarding in kennels can be a difficult or even traumatic experience for some dogs. Being kept for most of the day in small rooms can cause a range of issues, from fighting and aggression to depression and anxiety, meaning you can return to an unhappy and stressed pet. When you have to go away for work, or even a much-needed holiday, you want to know that your furry friend is not just safe and well, but also having so much fun that they’ve forgotten they miss you at all!

“Hi there! My name is Gigi and I’m the Chief Barking Officer for LLS’s newest expat support service: Expat Woof. My human, Lara, and her team are barking mad about dogs, so we’re welcoming expat pets with open arms (and paws) to our homes in Nyon, Gollion and Villars Bozon for the pawcation of their dreams.
Our VIP (Very Important Pet) dog boarding service includes:
✔ 3 long walks a day, either in the forest, beach, mountains and general countryside (many good things to roll in)
✔ Cuddles (humans are the best pillows)
✔ Lake baths (a must for goldies and labs!)
✔ Relaxing massages (great for de-stressing after chasing squirrels)
✔ Daily meaty bone treat (with permission from owner)
✔ Video chat with owners in the evening (“HUMAN, I’M HAVING THE BEST TIME!”)
✔ Photos and selfies of holiday bliss (3-2-1, everyone say “Good doggieeeee!”)
✔ Meet ups with other doggy friends for sniffs, boops and hangouts (with permission from owner)
While your furry friend is living their best doggy life, you can relax and enjoy your human holiday or focus on your work (gotta pay for those pup-treats somehow)!
One human will look after no more than 3 dogs at the same time to ensure the best care and attention possible. (For multi-doggy playdates that same ratio applies.) Plus, to save you time and effort, we pick up and drop off with our doggy-to-door chauffeur service.
Your precious pupper will become our new best friend and experience the canine holiday of a lifetime, surrounded by nature and exciting outdoor adventures.”
